Nunu
I created concepts for a relaxing tile-matching game with a soft, approachable ethos inspired by Japanese puzzle game design. This project involved designing the game concept, visual identity, UI layouts, key art, icons, and a basic prototype.
A welcoming, minimalist menu design; setting a calm tone for the game.
‘Nunu’ box art concept: Emphasizes many key elements of the gameplay with retail presentation as a focus.
Game concept visual: Showcases a tactile art style, simple gameplay, and clear on-screen elements.
Some menus employ different backgrounds, associating certain moods with certain screens.
Each menu contain a simple but relevant illustration, giving them unique characteristics.
Including some menu items on more than one screen enhances ease of navigation.
Gameplay example: Demonstrating how the design translates to a handheld format.
I created a working prototype of the game’s mechanics using Replit.
